History of Charles Jones

• Established in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1962 by Charles Jones.
• Charles recognized an opportunity to service the steel industry.
• He knew that industries didn't have a lot of time to spend looking for the right tools and equipment to do their jobs.
• So, he set up a company dedicated to finding the right product lines to cater specifically to those audiences, minimizing their downtime.
• In 1973 moved to larger facilities in Stoney Creek. We opened an additional office in 1974 in Nanticoke.
• Since 1974 there have been two major expansions at the Nanticoke office.
• Opened a new branch in Cambridge in 2005.
• Charles Jones is still a family operation.
